As the Marines ask more of recruits than other armed forces, we wanted to create an ad that asked more of our audience.
The brief was to highlight the qualities of stealth and efficiency that are the cornerstones of the Royal Marines state of mind.
So rather than creating yet another armed forces advert featuring men in camouflage running around with guns, we appealed to the intelligence, perceptiveness and attention to detail of our target audience.
We managed to portray the ruthless efficiency of the force without showing a single Royal Marine.
